Hakolino began with a simple idea: that great lighting shouldn't be hard to find. Our founder, Rachel, spent over two decades working in interiors and continually encountered the same problem. People were forced to choose between beautiful designs that lacked quality, or well-made pieces with unapproachable price tags. Frustrated by this compromise, she set out to change the market. Today, Hakolino combines an interior designer's eye for form and function with a founding team backed by over 30 years of heritage in the UK lighting industry. We curate contemporary, design-led pieces that are effortless to style, simple to choose, and built to elevate everyday spaces.

As our capabilities grew, so did our catalogue. What began as a curated selection of interior pieces has blossomed into a comprehensive range for the entire home.
